Introduction to 10Duke OrgAdmin
10Duke OrgAdmin is an administration tool that you can provide for your customer organizations to facilitate their operations and to reduce your own system administrators’ workload. 10Duke OrgAdmin is a component you can purchase separately to complement your 10Duke Enterprise deployment.
When you allow your customer organizations to manage their purchased licenses in OrgAdmin, this reduces the support needed from your system administrators, and typically customer organizations also prefer to manage their own end users and the users’ access to licenses.
You can customize the OrgAdmin UI to apply your own brand to the UI, and customize and localize the UI texts if needed.
The articles about OrgAdmin features describe its default configuration. They are intended for vendors as a basis for their own customer documentation. If you are an administrator in a customer organization and found these articles through a search or a link, your OrgAdmin may look or work differently. Contact your software vendor for documentation and help.
Features available
With OrgAdmin, you can offer your customers an easy-to-use tool for managing their licenses and users:
-
Ability to invite and manage users, including granting administrator access to the organization
-
Mass import options to support user provisioning in use cases with identity federation from the customer’s external identity provider
-
Ability to invite and manage device clients
-
Ability to control user and device client access to licenses by setting up authorized groups and assigning users and device clients to them, by reserving seats, and by blocking license use if needed
-
Dashboards for monitoring user activity, the status of user invitations, and the status of the organization’s licenses
You can enable or disable options and functionality to suit your needs. See more information on the feature configuration.
Access OrgAdmin
Your customer organization’s administrators need a 10Duke Enterprise user account with administrator access to their organization.
By default, users can access OrgAdmin at the following URL of your 10Duke Enterprise deployment (the /orgadmin path can be customized as needed):
https://<your 10Duke Enterprise instance>/orgadmin
Note: If your own system administrators need to see an organization’s data in OrgAdmin (for example, for support tasks), assign them an organization role of that organization. In this case, any organization role is suitable and no specific permissions are needed.
Navigation
When you log in, you first come to the Dashboard.
Use the sidebar navigation on the left to navigate to the different features in OrgAdmin.
In the top toolbar on the right, you can change the language in the tool, access your profile settings, and log out.
Do you have access to managing more than one organization? Make sure to always select which organization you’re working on in the top toolbar.
You can have custom links added in OrgAdmin. The custom links can appear in:
-
As options in the user menu in the top toolbar.
-
As action buttons above a table (like the existing Create button above the user group table).
-
As options in the Tools menu on table rows.
If you need to add new custom links, contact the 10Duke Integration Support team.
List views
All the OrgAdmin list views (such as the list of users or licenses) have some common features.
Above the list, you have the following options:
-
Search the list content. Enter text in a search field and click Search to update the list.
-
Select which columns to show on the list. Click the column edit icon, select the columns you want, and the list is updated.
-
Reset the list to clear the search and restore the default set of columns.
-
Reload the list to update it with the latest data. The lists are not refreshed automatically.
A reload button is also available in several other places in OrgAdmin for refreshing the data.
On the list itself, you can do the following:
-
Sort the list by column. Change the sorting order by clicking the double arrow next to a column title.
-
In the rightmost Tools column, you have a three-dot menu for each item on the list. The menu has options for that item, such as viewing the item’s details.

-
On the user or device client license download view, you can filter licenses by entitlements and license validity.

-
On the licenses list, you can filter licenses by their state.
-
On the license usage view, you can filter users by user type (users or device clients).
