10Duke License Consumption API

/authz/ is the 10Duke License Consumption API endpoint used for license consumption requests, such as consuming or renewing a license and releasing an existing license lease. In addition, the endpoint can be used to check permission-based access.

Check permissions

You can use the /authz/ endpoint to authorize a user or client based on permissions instead of consuming licenses.

Request parameters

• permissionScope: Defines the scope of permissions to check.

  Possible values:

  • consumer: Checks permissions defined in client roles. This is the default value if the parameter is omitted.

  • provider: Checks 10Duke Enterprise internal permissions.

• permissionScopeConsumerId: Specifies the ID of the OAuth consumer whose permissions are checked. Automatically defaults to the consumer ID resolved from the request’s OAuth access token. If no consumer ID can be resolved from the token, only global-scope consumer permissions are checked.
