Introduction to 10Duke Insights
10Duke Insights is a reporting tool designed for software vendors, allowing administrators to access reporting dashboards that present detailed, visualized data derived from events and other deployment-related information. 10Duke Insights is a product you can purchase separately to complement your 10Duke Enterprise deployment.
See below for a quick walkthrough of the Insights tool, and then get to know the Insights dashboards.
Access Insights
You need a 10Duke Enterprise user account with view permissions to Insights. Contact someone from your system administrator team to invite you to sign up and grant you access to Insights. If needed, you can also contact the 10Duke Integration Support team for support.
To access Insights, go to the Insights URL for your 10Duke Enterprise deployment, provided by the 10Duke Integration Support team.
How you sign up and log in depends on how user authentication has been implemented for your company’s 10Duke Enterprise deployment. User authentication can be done, for example, by using the 10Duke Login Application component or social login.
Navigation
When you log in to Insights, you first come to the Insights home dashboard, which provides a quick overview on what’s been happening in your system recently.
Above the dashboard area, the toolbar has a hamburger menu on the left for navigating to the Revenue Insights, Product Insights, and Support Insights dashboards.
When you’re viewing a dashboard, most of them also have some additional toolbar options on the right, for example, for selecting the reporting time range.
Technical requirements and limitations
-
The events for your deployment are stored for a limited time, which means those dashboards that use event data won’t show reporting further back in time. The default storage time is 90 days, but you can purchase extended storage time with Insights.
-
The data log on each dashboard only displays a limited number of the latest data items (such as events). With a few exceptions, the dashboards will only show the latest 100 data items.
